  • It is with great sadness that the British Student Korfball Association announce that we have reluctantly accepted the resignation, with immediate affect, of Dave Buckland as the GB Student Squad Head Coach. Dave explained his decision in conversations last week with BSKA President Alan Piper and BSKS Manager John Bagnall. Dave has worked tirelessly in his role over the years and feels now is the right time to move on and focus on other commitments. It has been a great privilege to have Dave as head coach for the last four years and his devotion to the development of student korfball has been second to none. We would like to put on record our enormous gratitude for all Dave has achieved in his role as head coach. It is clear that student korfball in Britain would not be where it is today without Dave's efforts. Dave will continue to work with the BSKA on development and as a trusted advisor for which we are very thankful. We are pleased to confirm that Joe Stirling and Rob Williams will continue in their role as coaches ensuring that the squad still has the best possible preparation in the build up to the BSKA International Invitational Trophy in June. We wish Dave the absolute best for all his future endeavors and look forward to working with him on other projects. Thank you
