We at the BSKA are looking to add to our team. Due to personal circumstances, the association’s treasurer, Niamh Sully has decided to step down after over a year of service. On behalf of the association and it’s members I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Niamh for her time and commitment. Many of you will have been in regular contact with Niamh over the last year, but she feels at this time that she will not be able to put the required time into the role.
This means we will be recruiting for a new BSKA Treasurer. Of course this recruitment process will involve voting by all member institutions, but first we need some candidates!
If you’d like to be treasurer it will help if you are:
- Good verbal and written communicator;
- Able to present information in an effective fashion;
- Able to assimilate and manipulate numerical information easily.
If you become treasurer you will get:
- valuable work experience and real financial responsibility;
- experience as part of a busy and proactive team;
- be part of the biggest competition change in student korfball in the UK since it began!
If you want to put yourself forward for this exciting role and gain great work experience, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org to register your interest.
In the interim the role will be managed by BSKA Secretary Lizzie Reeves, please direct any queries previously sent to Niamh to Lizzie on the above email address.
Would you be interested in taking part in the BSKA now or in the future? We want to hear from you! The treasurer role is available now, but all roles are available for election on a yearly basis at the annual BSKA AGM. If you want to volunteer your time and gain work experience we can also make use of help in the following areas:
- Finance and Sponsorship
If any of these areas interest you, contact Rob, the BSKA Chairperson on email@example.com to find out how you can help, and what experience we can give you!
